ALL STAR INFORMATION
All Star Director - 4/19/2022
Thank you for your interest in playing All Stars for Simi Valley Girls Softball this summer. Below you will find the critical information for you to consider. By accepting a position on a 2022 All Star team you will be responsible to adhere to the schedule and time commitments, the uniform requirements, and the player/parent code of conduct.
The goal of Simi Valley Girls Softball All Star program is to group “like skilled players” to go out and compete. Teams are formed by and coached by the managers in the respective division and the goal is to further the skill, game knowledge, and love of the game.
Adding your player to the interest list does not guarantee they will be selected for a team.
Time Commitment:
All Star “Season” starts 5/1/2022 and runs through 6/30/2022 for all teams (GOLD TEAMS COULD GO LONGER IF QUALIFIED FOR STATES). Practice schedules will be determined by the coaches of each team and can be scheduled daily.

- All Stars teams formed 5/1/2022
- All Star Practice Starts 5/8/2022
The 2022 All Star Season Schedule:
- Thousand Oaks Memorial Day Classic 5/27-5/30
- Westlake/Agoura Summer Slam 6/3-6/5
- Poway Summer Heat Classic 6/10-6/12
- Simi Valley Amanda Tournament 6/17-6/19
- Districts 6/24-6/26 (Gold Teams Only)
- States 7/8-7/10 (Gold Teams if Qualified)
Money Involved:
Along with the time commitment all players are required to have 2 game jerseys, 1 pair of league pants, 2 pair of league socks, 1 matching helmet, 1 bat bag (approx. $325).
By accepting a place on one of the teams you are also agreeing to attend all tournaments on the above schedule and to pay 1/12th of the tournament costs (approx. $200)
This season we do have 1 travel tournament in San Diego where at least 2 room nights will be required.
Depending on the team a player is placed on (Gold/Silver/Bronze) costs will start around $500 with any travel not included(6U team will not be traveling to San Diego).
All Stars is a huge commitment for all involved but can be a great way to increase your players abilities in the game they love. Along with the softball players/families get an opportunity to make friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. Team Play Certification:I, parent or guardian of the below player hereby state that she has not participated in any way with any other softball team other than her 2022 SVGS Recreation and/or SVGS Select softball team after March 31st, 2022.
I further understand that if it is proven that the above statement is incorrect or untrue, my daughter will no longer be able to participate in All-Stars for this season and any future All-Star seasons with SVGS. A written report will be made and placed into SVGS records. The matter will also be reported to USA softball.
Registering my daughter up for the All Star interest list online indicates my authorization for my daughter to be considered to play for a 2022 SVGS All-Star team, and that I have read and understand the above statements and certify that my daughter will not be in violation of any of the following USA rules:
Teams shall not have any players who participated on a travel type team after March 31, 2022
