Fall Ball 2026

Don't pack up those cleats yet, it's time for Fall Ball.

If you've never played Fall Ball before, it is an extra chance to keep your existing skills sharp in the off season, as well as develop new skills and try new positions. For girls who might be interested in learning to pitch or catch, Fall Ball is a great opportunity. There are no standings or trophies for the Fall Ball season. Girls and families participate because of their love of the game and desire to play and learn.

If you are moving up a division in the next Spring season, Fall Ball is a great time to play in that new division to become familiar with the new division rules before the Spring season starts.

Please note, 8U, 10U, and 12U Fall Ball is not run or governed by SVGS. There are several local leagues (T.O., Newbury Park, Camarillo, ESO) that run Fall seasons. SVGS maintains a list of interested girls and shares this list with the individual coaches who form their own teams (there is no draft like a traditional rec season). Each team is responsible for registering in any league they would like to participate in and paying all of its own fees.

6U and 14U will be a bit different as we are attempting to run these at our fields on Friday nights. More information will be coming shortly, but please add your name to the interest list if you would like to play.

Every effort will be made to secure managers so that every girl who registers will find a team, but we cannot guarantee a spot for every player that submits their name to the list. The number of available teams is based on the number of volunteer managers and interested players. If you have never managed a team, Fall Ball is a great place to start, and will help ensure your daughter and other girls find a team.

If you are interested in managing a team, please complete the form here: 2026 Fall Manager Interest List (as always, WE NEED MANAGERS).  The more managers we have, the more girls get to play (including your daughter!).  If you have any questions about managing (managing in FALL requires much less than in the Spring season), please reach out to anyone on the Board with questions.

If you have already found a team, please add your name to the list anyway (for insurance purposes and so we know where all players are). The same goes for managers - if you are already forming a team, please put your name on the interest list anyway.
